it was a good night at the bar next doorish where, oops, I had too much to drink OH WELL, because -- I don't have to race, as I have a sub for tomorrow, and, uh, this happened.
For those of you who have trouble recognizing him on sight: that's Keaton Ellerby and his nephew/Carey Price's second cousin once removed/Shane Doan's first cousin once removed. It's only been five months since I started wanting this picture. LIFE IS GREAT. THERE'S A BABY.
(Btw, thanks for the <3, people who I've whined at about my hips. It's definitely helped me feel more rational for giving in to the pain! I almost cried when I got told they'd found a substitute, I was so happy.)
ALSO since I was reminded about my amazing team's amazing relationship with the Jewish community, here is the best story about my fellow Panthers fans ever: the day I found out Stephen Weiss was not for sure Jewish as we'd all been told, Best Bro and I went to a game ... where one of the Orthodox men was overheard explaining to someone else how amazing Weiss is with, as an extra super bonus indicator of awesome, "and he's even JEWISH!" We will tinhat the shit out of our captain's Judaism, okay.
